The Name is Perfect....
On Friday we took Liam and Jacqueline to Enchanted Forest. It is really a wonderful place full of excitement and, yes, enchantment.
For those of you who have never experienced this magical place let me take you on a little tour.
It is full of little places like this. All sorts of little nursery rhymes are displayed. The crooked man's house is quite an interesting place to try to navigate...and yes it is crooked! Little Miss Muffet is there as are the three bears, snow whites castle and so much more!
There is Western Town, Medieval Village, log rides, roller coaster rides, even a haunted house. There is a stage where they perform plays...we saw Pinocchio. It was quite funny. They made a little wise crack about public schools...I thought, coming from a group of 20 somethings, it was pretty funny! There is also a restaurant that has a water and light show every 7 minutes. The music is exciting and it really is a good show! All of this takes place on a very wooded (hence the name Forest) area full of hills and valleys. The thick tree cover made the rather warm day almost pleasant. And all this fun just a 15 minute drive from our home. So...with no further ado I will now share some of the pictures that we took.

This is the Rabbit Hole...and boy did it take some coaxing to get Liam to follow Jacqueline into it. In the middle it gets really dark and evidently he then discovered he had worn his light up shoes...he told Jacqueline that that was a good thing.
The fellow running this ride high fived Liam when he got off...he said that Liam had been the most entertaining rider so far. He couldn't decide if he loved the ride or was afraid. One minute he would be clutching Jacqueline for all he was worth with a worried look on his face and the next minute giggling that hilarious giggle that is so infectious.
In upper windows of each side of this street were puppets talking to each other. I thought that was really neat. Right down to the English accent.
Liam was with her the second time she went on this ride.
Now here is something special.
This is me in the super cool yellow ensemble, my sister Annette who is Jacqueline's mom and my brother Lance...Lance is about the same age in this picture as Liam is in the one taken on Friday. This picture was taken about 1972. I think that maybe Annette was not too happy.
And here is another special picture.
Same bench...and Annette is much happier here.
Parting shot...just can't get enough of that outfit can you?..........
